Brian Shankar Adler works with students to develop their innate sense of rhythm and creativity. His teaching centers on the idea that rhythm lives in the body, in the world and in the universe. It is the interaction between place and time as marked through a physical energetic release. The study of rhythm is a daily practice of opening the ears, finding balance and breaking through blocks within the body to express any and all rhythms freely, with a clear, focused sound.
