Commissioned by the Rasa String Quartet, Echoes of the Gomero is a sonic journey through the labyrinth of our ancestral memory. A meditation on the invisible threads that bind us to those who came before, the piece explores the elusive nature of "home," not as a fixed location, but as a living, breathing tapestry woven through time and far-reaching geographies. Scored for string quartet and bombo legüero, the piece illuminates composer Brian Shankar Adler’s own Argentine heritage.
